Has there been a change in you since Christ came into your life? I thank God for his amazing grace, that grace that comes not of yourself but by his power. It is God's amazing works that saves us. Romans 6:1 and 5-7 and 15,16.
It's God's goodness that leads us to righteousness, amazing grace, and how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. John Milton penned it right on the head in his song, 'Amazing Grace'. God is an awesome God. There's none like him in his excellence or wonders. Exodus 15:11.
We've come to a point in the church where we don't need revival, we need a spiritual awakening. Christianity is not a humanistic religion, but that's what it has become. King David says, "Serve the Lord with fear and trembling."
We don't see that kind of fear and trembling as Christians walk in their daily life. They are busy doing everything but putting God first; making a thousand decisions a day without inquiring of the Lord. God knows your every thought and every move, and we don't even acknowledge that in our lives. Yes, we need a move of God from the Atlantic to the Pacific. We need a movement of his presence and his light. How many of our lights have dimmed, yet we are supposed to be the light of the world.
We straddle the fence and eat at the table of the Lord one week and the table of the devil the next. Without repentance in the heart change cannot truly come. Joy cannot come because joy comes from a soul that has been washed in the blood. Where sin did abound grace abounded much more.
No one can feel comfortable in God's presence with a life of sin. What brings salvation's goodness is obedience. There are some things grace cannot do and I'm going to outline those and talk about each one.
1. Grace cannot condemn the sinner or excuse the saint.
Sin drives your nature, like lust, and lust will take hold and drive you to things that you will be ashamed of. Jesus gives us freedom from that flesh drive. When you're saved and sanctified, you are a partaker of the divine and sin can not rule you any longer. The first thing that happens is the old man dies and is freed from sin. It is appropriated by faith and freedom then comes by the blood.
The word sanctifies you, so sanctifying yourself comes by the hearing of the word of God. We are buried by him in the baptism and by his death. Romans 6:22. You should see fruit in your Christian life. We are in a Laodicean era. The churches are empty, and no one is going to the altar. People don't want to be offended but that's what the law does, it cuts through bone and marrow to the core of who you are and where you stand with God.
2. Grace cannot forgive unconfessed sin.
After you have received God's amazing grace and continue to sin and violate God's law, the 10 commandments, and forsake the Sabbath you are going to fall back into the devil's hands. You will fall from grace.
The first four commands show the eternal laws and your relationship with God. Forsake not the assembling of yourselves with other believers. Your blessing may be wrapped up in someone God wants to connect you to in the church but are you there to meet your destiny? Five through Ten of the commandments deals with our relationship with others. These laws are eternal and permanent, written in stone.
God can't forgive unconfessed sin, but you've got to know what sin you're doing to feel conviction. Before a heart can be healed it must be broken. The word of God breaks your heart and shows you your short comings so you can change and walk right.
3. Grace cannot forgive an unrepentant heart. 2 Corinthians 7:10
We cry when we are caught in a civil court for breaking the law and say, Judge, I'll cut my right arm off
if you'll just pardon me. How do people think they can stand before God and forgiveness when they can't get it from a civil judge. Because you have an advocate with God and his name is Jesus Christ. He stands in the gap.
People in the church confess Jesus but they don't have Godly sorrow. Their heart is far from him. He tells us that if you love me, you will obey my commands. Matthew 7:23 says, "But many will say, look what I did in your name, and Jesus will say, I never knew you." We've got people claiming to be saved that has never departed from iniquity.
4. Grace cannot grant eternal life to a person who refuses to obey God.
People say, you can't lose your salvation. Well, they didn't have salvation to start with. No person with salvation would continue to commit adultery, kill babies, lie on his neighbor. They never got grace to start with but they sure want to condemn the law. Romans 6:16. Sin brings curses and obedience brings blessings.
Don't you believe some hot shot preacher that tells you you can't slip from grace. Keep on sinning and see how quick you will fall. People with salvation who walk a righteous life don't revisit the road of sin. They've been washed and made into a new man and they are a slave to Christ. Grace cannot give life to a person who refuses to obey.
5. Grace cannot change God's law of sowing and reaping. Galations 6:8
What God can do when you repent is to restore the years the canker worm and locusts have eaten away. He can restore your joy. God is the judge and no one can take that away from him. He says, I'll give you the desires of your heart if you'll just give me your heart. Inquire of him with all decisions you make.
You can't go to the bible and see who you should marry, but if you'll walk righteous and pray and put him first, he will lead to the person he wants you to marry. We miss our seasons and destinies because our hearts are somewhere else. Put him first and you will see manifestation of certain things to you.
6. Grace cannot keep a person from moral failure if they choose to sin. Isaiah 59:, Psalms 66:18, and 1 Peter 3:12.
We need to get back to righteousness and purity in our hearts. God didn't call us to uncleanness. We've got to have holy preachers to result in holy people. The true church wants holiness and righteousness.
So goes the priest, so goes the people. A true preacher will never get on t.v. and wiggle his way out of speaking the truth in the word to keep from offending someone. Exodus 15:11 How wimpy, and poor little Jeremiah had to deliver to the people hell and damnation and be persecuted for it, but it saved a nation. A preacher that cares more what people think than what his mandate by God is is not worthy to be called a man of God.
Where is God's glory? Grace of today demands a change. We have it all and are too fat and are Laodicean spirits but God says, you are naked and poor and in need of salvation. God is calling his true church to holiness. He's awakening a remnant that will reign on high, a remnant that has hearts set upon him. Are you ready for the Lord to take the world out of you and sanctify you? God will stir up a people who will love only him and not the world or the monetary things of this world.
The outpouring will be a great victory for the church, fear and reverence of God will return. We will see people work out their salvation instead of hiding behind a mask. They will tremble in fear when they approach his throne instead of mumbling some rehearsed prayer. Matthew 7:14.
I recommend reading Johnathan Edwards' sermon from the 18th century, 'Sinners in the hands of an angry God', he shook the foundations of the church, one woman at a revival grabbed hold of a post thinking God was going to lift her off the earth. Paul's preaching to Felix, the Roman judge had the same affect.

Independence Day never more important to observe Tomorrow Americans will take the day off, watch ballgames, barbecue in the backyard, watch fireworks displays and fly the flag. But it's more important they do more than that on this Independence Day.Given the state of our nation this July 4, 2010, people should sit down with their family and their friends and read the Declaration of Independence. It's a document that is as relevant today as it was when it was written 234 years ago. Try to read it with it's intended purpose like you've never read it, with a fresh perspective. We live in a society today that has misinterpreted its meaning and has lost sight of what freedom really means. We have been misguides as Americans and heard all kinds of interpretations and a battle is going on to maintain our freedom from people who want this country to embrace all kinds of things. The founders probably encountered such tyrant opposition as they were drafting the Declaration of Independence. Some of the issues our founding fathers were encountering were: 1. Government was failing to perform the limited responsibilities the institution was required to perform. 2. Government was exceeding its authority; 3. Government was violating individual rights. 4. Government was obstructing immigration laws. 5. Government was obstructing justice. 6. Government was turning the land into a police state. 7. Government was superseding the established laws of the land. Can we relate to that today? Yes, indeed we can. It's worse today, because the colonists lived in a society far freer than the what we do today, with the huge government takeover, especially in light of the medical care in this nation. We in essence are being controlled more than the colonists ever were, not by a foreign government but by our own government. We have lost our financial freedom as we've become owned by China financially. We work hard all of our lives and we have no comforts in retirement because our government has squandered social security money. We may have more modern conveniences. We may have a more comfortable life than the colonists. Food and shelter and the basic necessities of life may be easier to come by than they were in the 18th century. But, can anyone truly suggest that we have more liberty than most of the colonists had? I think it would be very hard to make that case. Yet, those men and women were willing to sacrifice everything they had – their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor – to make a heroic stand for liberty. They were bible based men and set our government up to be nation IN GOD WE TRUST. But it seems like Christians today are satisfied with being indifferent. Don't you think our founder fathers had opposition. They fought a powerful nation, England for us to be free. Church and state has been misinterpreted to mean everything influence on the government but restricted the government from having any power over the church. When you take away the influence of the church, you get the 10 commandments removed from our government and prayer removed from our schools. You have an educational system that tells our children we were created by a fluke big bang theory instead of God. But all of this is not the end of the fight. We're just in the beginning, I believe in a nation that is on the brink of major changes. This country is at a crossroads. And whether we choose the freedom path or the tyranny path will be decided in one of the most historic elections in American history in the next election. The tea-party movement arose in response to the increase in tyranny Americans are facing. It's a vibrant and broad grass-roots movement. Yet, how long it lasts and how much impact it will have on the future of our nation is still to be determined. It is no surprise that such a movement is occurring in this nation. If you want to affect our nation this group is a place to start voicing your opinions. Give fair warning to your congressmen and Senators that you've had enough of corrupted leadership. Reading the Declaration of Independence, it will give you a clear vision of where you stand. Get involved with a clear vision of what you want to accomplish. But, for heaven's sake, don't forget what this holiday is all about. It's about one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all. |

Israeli Soldiers dancing get 15 minutes of fame
A video of Israeli soldiers dancing to the song Ke$ha's "Tik Tok"was posted on YouTube over the weekend, It was removed but resurfaced and has hit the media in Israel. It shows six soldiers breaking into a choreographed dance routine while on patrol in Hebron. Originally posted under the title "Battalion 50 Rock the Hebron Casbah," the re-posted video is titled "It's easy to laugh at the occupation when you're the oppressor (and a douchebag)."
The video is part of a growing trend where soldiers produce cover versions of pop songs and post them to the internet, as American soldiers did to the tune of Lady Gaga's "Telephone." However, as Haaretz points out, usually these videos are produced on base instead of while the soldiers are on patrol.
Reactions to the Israeli video have ranged from amusement to "disdain for the sight of soldiers dancing in an occupied Palestinian street." One Jezebel commenter remarked that the film was apparently shot during the Muslim call to prayer and hence was doubly inappropriate. According to Haaretz, the soldiers involved will likely be punished for improper conduct, though The Huffington Post claims commanders have "shrugged off" the incident as a "stunt.
But seemingly they have escaped being penalised by their commanders. Larry King was the first to announce the dance breakout to Prime Minister Netanyahu in his interview with him. The Prime Minister's response was, "let me get a report on it then I'll let you know my response."
Initial reports said the six were facing disciplinary action, but the army later said the soldiers were just fooling around and no harm was done.
The YouTube user who originally posted the clip identified it as "Battalion 50 Rock the Hebron Casbah", the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.
It shows the six - armed with assault rifles and kitted out in bulletproof vests - doing a combination of the Macarena and the chicken dance to the catchy dance track, before twirling in pairs and skipping out of camera shot while holding hands.
After it was taken down, it was re-posted by a user who added the title: "It's easy to laugh at the occupation when you're the oppressor (and a douchebag)."
Hebron is home to about 160,000 Muslims, but some 500 Israeli settlers live in the centre of the city with a heavy Israeli security detail.
On Monday, Israeli TV stations picked up the clip and aired it repeatedly.
The military called the video a "stunt". They were dancing but someone who had posted it on Utube added the music to it.They are just soldiers doing nothing more than many of our own soldier do but the negative world always has something to say about every move of everyone. If we put an article in the newspaper criticizing our youth for the things they do while church worship was going on, the newspapers would be double their size.
Methodist Church to boycott goods from illegal Israeli settlements

The Methodist Church has today voted to boycott all products from Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories, and to encourage Methodists to do the same. The Methodist Church of Britain voted on Wednesday to boycott Israeli-produced goods and services from the West Bank because of Israel’s “illegal occupation of Palestinian lands.”
Christine Elliott, Secretary for External Relationships, said, “This decision has not been taken lightly, but after months of research, careful consideration and finally, today’s debate at the Conference. The goal of the boycott is to put an end to the existing injustice by Israel."
“We are passionate about dialogue across communities and with people of all faiths. We remain deeply committed to our relationships with our brothers and sisters of other faiths, and we look to engage in active listening so that we act as agents of hope together.”
The Conference also adopted a statement calling for a full arms embargo against all sides in the conflict. “This conflict is further fuelled by partisan support by other countries. Violence from all parties in this conflict must be denounced, and a just peace sought for all peoples living in the region,” said Christine.
The motion stated that the boycott of goods “from illegal Israeli settlements” was in response to a call by the World Council of Churches – which advocates divestment from Israel – and by Palestinian civil society and “a growing number of Jewish organizations in Israel and worldwide.”
“The Methodist Conference notes the call of the World Council of Churches in 2009 for an international boycott of settlement produce and services and the support given for such a boycott by Christian leaders in Palestine in the Kairos document, Palestinian civil society and a growing number of Jewish organizations both inside Israel and worldwide and calls on the Methodist people to support and engage with this boycott of Israeli goods emanating from illegal settlements,” the church said.
Last year, the Methodist Church set up a working group to “work for an end to the Occupation, an end to the blockade of Gaza, adherence to international law by all sides and a just peace for all in the region.”
The resulting 54-page report produced by the church body, titled “Justice for Palestine and Israel,” met with a fierce condemnation by the Board of Deputies of British Jews, the Council of Christians and Jews and British Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks: Methodist Church Conference Report: 'Justice for Palestine and Israel'
In a statement released after Wednesday’s vote, the church body said the decision, which carried unanimously, had the goal of ending “the existing injustice.”
“This decision has not been taken lightly, but after months of research, careful consideration and finally, today’s debate at the conference,” said Christine Elliott, secretary for external relationships. “The goal of the boycott is to put an end to the existing injustice. It reflects the challenge that settlements present to a lasting peace in the region.”
Jewish community leadership organizations reacted with dismay. In a joint statement, the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council said it was, “This is a very sad day, both for Jewish-Methodist relations and for everyone who wants to see positive engagement with the complex issues of Israeli-Palestinian relations. The Methodist Conference has swallowed hook, line and sinker a report full of basic historical inaccuracies, deliberate misrepresentations and distortions of Jewish theology and Israeli policy.
“The deeply flawed report is symptomatic of a biased process: The working group which wrote the report had already formed its conclusions at the outset. External readers were brought in to give the process a veneer of impartiality, but their criticisms were rejected. The report’s authors have abused the trust of ordinary members of the Methodist Church, who assumed that they were reading and voting on an impartial and comprehensive paper, and they have abused the goodwill of the Jewish community, which tried to engage with this issue, only to find that our efforts were treated as an unwelcome distraction,” the statement said.
David Gifford, the chief executive of the Council of Christians and Jews, said he was disappointed that the Israeli narrative was not heard during the debate.
“I was very disappointed at the emotive nature of the debate which again did not hear fairly also the pain and cry of the Israeli,” Gifford said. “It was right to hear the pain of the Palestinian but in the end the vote of the Methodist Conference was to boycott goods and services that originate from the West Bank. We shall have to see how this will affect future relationships of the Methodist Church with other churches, the CCJ [Council of Christians and Jews] and with the British Jewish community.”
The Board of Deputies said the conference should “hang its head in shame.”
“This outcome is extremely serious and damaging, as we and others have explained repeatedly over recent weeks. Israel is at the root of the identity of Jews and of Judaism, and as an expression of Jewish spiritual, national and emotional aspirations. Zionism cannot simply be ruled as illegitimate in the way that the conference has purported to do. This smacks of breathtaking insensitivity, as crass as it is misinformed. That this position should now form the basis of Methodist Church policy should cause the conference to hang its head in shame, just as surely as it will cause the enemies of peace and reconciliation to cheer from the sidelines.”
Anti-Zionist and anti-Israel activists who support a blanket boycott of Israel were the main sources of the document. They included Israeli-born academics Ilan Pappe and Avi Shlaim; Jeff Halper from the Israeli Committee against House Demolitions; Anglican vicar Stephen Sizer; and Beirut-based journalist Robert Fisk.

Lord Sacks said the implications of the decision would “reverberate across the hitherto harmonious relationship between the faith communities in the UK”.
He blasted the report as “unbalanced, factually and historically flawed” and offering “no genuine understanding of one of the most complex conflicts in the world today. Many in both communities will be deeply disturbed”.
Delegates at the conference in Portsmouth overwhelmingly passed every recommendation of the report, which also included a call to review whether Zionism was compatible with Methodist beliefs.

An internal church memo shows that the Methodist Church had rejected calls for a more “balanced” working party, whose members included Stephen Leah, the chairman of the York branch of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
David King, a delegate from Lancashire and one of a number of speakers at the debate who raised Jewish concerns, noted “a rise in antisemitic activity in the UK”.
He said: “I’m concerned that in our acts as a church we are incredibly mindful of the wellbeing of the Jewish community in the UK.”
But Mr Carter told the conference: “I want to state quite clearly that there is no hint of antisemitism in what we have said or what we intend... If we are concerned about antisemitism, why don’t we talk about the anti-Islam approach? We might be between a rock and a hard place.” Expressing his hope for continued dialogue with the Jewish community, he said: “I want us to continue to hold out the hand of friendship — and I hope it won’t be refused.”
While the 54-page document mentions that Israelis had legitimate fears, it contains no more than a fleeting reference to Hamas.
Jonathan Arkush, senior vice-president of the Board of Deputies, who witnessed the debate in Portsmouth, said afterwards: “It is hard to see how anyone genuinely concerned with the Middle East and interfaith dialogue can take the Methodist Church seriously.”
The Methodist action reflects a tactic urged last year by Palestinian churches, which denounced Israel’s occupation as “a sin."

If a church conference asked you to go jump off a cliff would you do it before seeking God's word for yourself on it? The Christian Church must not accept the dehumanizing, and the right to defense and survival of the Jewish people. This act by the Methodist Church is exactly the way anti-semitism was spread in Europe by Christians. Since when did the Palestinian Christians rewrite our church doctrine? If the Methodist Church doctrine no longer fits into Zionism and the support of the Jewish people, then they must not be reading the same bible most of us Christians do. This is inflammatory by the Methodist church and abuse of the Christians they are the Shepherd of. If you don't read the word of God concerning Israel then you will fall for the Anti-Christ's lies! This is a deception of the Methodist Church in the first degree and goes against all Christian teaching. They had made their minds before they assembled, otherwise they would have gotten all sides first. For this act, cursed are they who hurt Israel. I didn't say that, God did! Read it!

Standing for limited government, lower taxes, free markets, constitutional values, and fiscal responsibility.
The Wilson NC Tea Party is a grassroots, non-violent, non-partisan movement for liberty and freedom that crosses racial, denominational and political party lines. We are Independents, Libertarians, Democrats and Republicans. We are black, white, red, brown, and yellow. We are Catholics and Protestants, young and old, male and female and we are unified around the Judeo-Christian principles and values of our glorious founding. We are bringing “our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor” to the table to organize a grassroots voice within Wilson County that stands for limited government, lower taxes, free markets, constitutional values, and fiscal responsibility. We put principle before party and vote for those who are most aligned with our values. We put integrity and character before flowery words and polished personas. We put common sense before utopian ideals and progressive lies.
We do not have a personal problem with any of our leaders. We honor every legitimate, Constitutional government office and position. We love our country and pray, daily, for all our leaders. However, this country is on the wrong track and nearly 80% of Americans do not trust the federal government and do not believe that it can solve America's ills (April 19th Pew Research poll).

1) America Is Good.

Iranian Barbarians stone to death a woman as the world looks on
The world watched as Iran ordered the stoning to death of young woman while her children pleaded for her life to be spared. The image of this woman being led to her death, the hurling of the stones, the saliva dripping from the beards of the men who were killing her, and the madness in the eyes of the people around her cannot be dismissed as business as usual for Iran. This is barbarious in the eyes of the West, particularly Christians.
The Iranian adulteress will be finding herself in the same situation faced by previous “sinners” in Iran. We can assume that some people in America will take a few minutes to say how terrible this is. Yet we know that the day after we shall wake up to find no commotion whatsoever. We’ll wake up to silence. If the world can watch this and not be affected it really shows how hardened people have become in their hearts.
After all, everyone understands that there are more important people than another stoned woman in Iran. There’s Israel, and the problem with the Hamas, and the debate over sanctions and commercial ties with Tehran; and so, the bodies in Iran keep piling up, while the people who on other occasions know how to ask tough questions suddenly grow silent.
The world wants to throw ugly hurdles at Israel for protecting herself against such evil that surrounds her. Iran needs to be cut off from the world economic system until it stops evil against its own people and spends everyday trying to figure out how to kill Israeli's.
The paradox is that Iranian brutality in fact provides a clear reflection of all the silent states that don’t care at all about human life, but rather, only concern themselves with future profits from oil.
Just try to examine the real attitude of this world’s main institutions to Iran, a state where you can be stoned over espionage, violating religious laws, protesting against the government, homosexuality, or just for spiting Ahmadinejad or the Ayatollahs.
What takes the cake in light of this stoning was that a few weeks ago, Iran became an official member of the UN’s Women’s Rights Commission. This is a group that was established after World War II in order to turn this world into a better place. Now let’s not pretend that UN voters did now know that Iran, the latest senior member of the commission, is not exactly a women’s rights fan.
So while officials in Tehran engage in debates on whether a woman has the right to end her life under a barrage of small stones while she’s buried chest-high, or maybe she has the right to ask for larger stones to be hurled at her, the very same Iran is tasked with protecting global women’s rights in New York.
And will our just world, that is, the Western states whose tax funds sponsor the meetings of the women’s rights commission, do anything about it? Will these states veto Iran’s membership in the commission? And will the US, headed by the most pro-human rights president in its history, embark on a loud campaign against the injustice and immediately cut its funding to the commission? We can assume that the answer is “no.”

USS Nassau: More US naval-air-marine
The USS Nassau (LHA-4) Amphibious Ready Group 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, tasked with supporting the Bahrain-based 5th Fleet area of operations, is cruising around the Bab al-Mandeb Straits where the Gulf of Aden flows into the Red Sea. Its presence there accounts for Tehran announcing Sunday, June 27 that its "aid ship for Gaza" had been called off, for fear an American military boarding party would intercept the vessel and search it. This would be permissible under the latest UN sanctions punishing the Islamic Republic for its nuclear program.
The third US carrier group to reach waters around Iran consists of three vessels:
1. The USS Nassau Amphibious Assault ship is not just an enormous landing craft for the 3,000 Marines aboard; its decks carry 6 vertical take-off AV-HB Harrier attack plans; four AH-1W Super Cobra, twelve CH-46 Sea Knight and CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopters, as well choppers convertible to fast V-22 Osprey airplanes capable of landing in any conditions.
This vast warship has 1,400 cabinets for sleeping the entire Marine-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard.
2. The amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde which carries 800 Marines equipped for instantaneous landing.
3. The amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland which carries 400 Marines and 102 commandos trained for special operations behind enemy lines.
These new arrivals are a massive injection of naval, air and marine muscle to the strength Washington has deployed in the Persian Gulf-Red Sea-Indian Ocean arena in recent months. The USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group consisting of twelve warships is cruising in the Arabian Sea opposite Chah Bahar, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards biggest naval base not far from the Iranian-Pakistan border. It is there that most of Iran's special commando units are housed.
Also posted in the Arabian Sea, further to the west, is the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Strike Group.
According to World News Today, the Prime Minister of Israel and his military heads will be meeting with President Obama and his military heads next week at the White House. Contrary to the nature of the Israeli leader's two previous meetings with US President Barack Obama, this time the meeting will be public.
According to a report by Debkafile, the Israeli Ambassador to US, Michael Oren said Netanyahu would also meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, but will not be seeing Secretary of State Hiliary Clinton, who will still be on trip to Europe. Orren, US Ambassador said the US administration's approach had changed since Obama took office, with a policy of change. It's not headed the direction of abandonment, it's a shift and our job is to figure where that shift is going and how to adapt.
